Christian New Year's celebration
A multi-church Christian New Year’s Eve celebration will be hosted by the Woodville Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 31, 8 p.m. to midnight.
“Everyone is encouraged to join together as we earnestly seek to praise the Lord. Musicians and speakers from surrounding churches are being sought at this time to help fill the evening with a wide variety of expressions of praise through instruments, song, and personal testimony," said an organizer.
Refreshments will be available throughout the informal event, including an ice cream extravaganza. All ages are welcome. A nursery will be available and assistance with transportation can be arranged.
