Raymond Jenkins

Raymond Franklin Jenkins, 85, of Manassas died Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Annaburg Manor in Manassas.

Mr. Jenkins was born April 9, 1916 in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Benjamin and Florence Sisk Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Frances B. Jenkins; nine children, Florence Belle Atkins of Manassas, Ruth Harris of Remington, John Jenkins of Warrenton, Doris Hensley of Broad Run, Jimmy Jenkins of Sperryville, Ginny Conley of Front Royal, Eugene Jenkins of Remington, Nancy Herring of Catharpin and Edward Jenkins of Manassas; one brother, Billy Jenkins of Lignum; 27 grandchildren; 44 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Benjamin Jenkins; four sisters, Gussie Sisk, Frances Sisk, Alice Sisk and Bertha Jenkins; two brothers, Tom Jenkins and Richard Jenkins and one step-sister, Laura Sisk.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Dec. 21 with Pastor Leo DeLorge and Pastor Randall Anderson officiating. Interment was at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
