Shir Lee Carbaugh Rennoe, 66, of Stephens City died Monday, Dec. 17 at Winchester Medical Center.

Memorial services were conducted on Wednesday at Calvary Episcopal Church in Front Royal by the Rev. Deborah Rutter.

Mrs. Rennoe was born May 27, 1935 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Holden Lee and Sarah Pillion Chapman.

She retired from FEMA and was a member of the VA PSI Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Valley Ladies Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America and served on the vestry of Calvary Episcopal Church. She was the wife of the late Wesley William Edward Carbaugh.

Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Rennoe; four daughters, Lynn Jenkins of Savannah, Ga., Hope Carbaugh of Leesburg, Sharon Cabaniss of Hamilton and Pamela Scott of Rockville, Md.; two stepdaughters, Robin Prior of Waynesboro and Teresa Irish of Atlanta; a brother, Douglas Chapman of Front Royal; two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
