Dec. 20 before a home crowd. The Page County Panthers returned for the second half of the home and away series that the two schools share in every sport.
The Page team had won the first contest at their hardwood 57 to 53 on 11 December. Now it was the Rapp Panthers chance to gather up a win. It wouldn't be an easy task as the game was close from start to finish. Tied 32 to 32 at the half, the game would go down to the final moments as it had at Page the week prior.
Junior Tony Starks had a pair of clutch free throws at the end to seal the win. but it was another ‘gutsy, all-out' performance by Kerry Grigsby, who led Rapp scoring with 19 points, that really garnered the victory. On both ends of the court, the scrappy Grigsby was everywhere.
