Committee, the Fnends Committee on National Legislation, the council for a Livable World, and she co-founded “The Art Group,” composed originally of wives of upwardly striving young lawyers, which group has flourished for some 50 years. Determinedly intellectual, she studied art, politics, literature, history, and people. She was a dedicated friend, a fierce Democrat, a tolerant wife, devoted mother of Chris and Dr. Stephanie, whose respective spouses are Mary Jane Cappello, a teacher, and Dr. Fred Ausubel, a professor at the Harvard Medical School. She was also an admiring and loving grandma to her three glorious grandchildren, Anna, Emily, and Jonathan Ausubel. She passed away peacefully at 9:30pm on Friday. 30 January, at the ripe age of 81.
