The next morning on the radio, newscasters explained that the “R-rated incident” was a “wardrobe snafu,” just an innocent accident. But I saw it and I find this difficq^t to believe.
Even if it was a mistake, it was a predictable one. When you play with fire, you are going to get burned; if you get slobbering drunk, you may do stupid things in front of your in-laws; if you take drugs, you might overdose; if you tear at a woman’s clothes, they just might come off.
I wonder what President Bush thought of the incident. I can only hope that when the two MTV superstars were reaching new lows, he was in the kitchen getting more nachos. I wish I had been.
