• On Thursday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m„ the Washington Town Council will continue its council meeting from last Wednesday at the Town Hall on Gay Street in order to go into closed session to discuss with legal counsel the Worley case involving a lawsuit against the town by a couple seeking to build a home there. • On April 26, Route 622 (Gid Brown Hollow Road) will be closed at the Covington River due to construction. The bridge will remain closed through May 3. Access to the north side of the river will be maintained from Washington, Va., via Route 622 (Harris Hollow Road). • On April 28, the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse on Gay Street.
