‘01 Diz ’ at The Theatre

Longaberger baskets bingo
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, will hold a bingo on April 24 where the famous, collectible, Longaberger baskets will be given away as bingo and raffle prizes. Doors open at 5 p.m.; games begin at 6 p.m. There will be 20 regular bingo games for the admission fee of $20 in advance; $25 at the door. International Festival April
Costumed performers, festive tents, and exciting music and dancing will turn the baseball practice field next to Rappahannock County High School into an International Festival on Sunday, April 25 from noon until 4 p.m. Free admission. Writing Workshop
Register for a one-day workshop, “Writing with Images,” to be held Sunday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Washington. Taught by Julie Portman, award-winning life stories writer, participants write multiple vignettes and one very short story. The cost is $130. Experience is not necessary. Join us at the closing reception for THIS SIDE UP - the April show at the Packing Shed Gallery. View the art and listen to live music. From 3-5:30 p.m., Ben Price, currently a music major at VCU, will perform a combination of solo classical and acoustic guitar works in two sessions. From 5:30-6 p.m. Rappahannock High Schools, The Quantum Repairmen', will create a new hole in the ozone layer.

Lions Club President Tom Tepper asks county residents to support the Annual Lions Club Auction to be held at Bill Payne's Auction Barn on May 1 at 5 p.m. All proceeds support community activities that help those that need it most.
