Meeting neighbors
During the high winds last week, as I took a shortcut home on Route 600 from town, I came across a downed tree. My neighbor, George Swett (featured in this paper several weeks ago for his work with Mountain Rescue) had come to the rescue with his chain saw. My daughter was eager to get home and suggested we turn around. No way, this is life in the country...we’re going to help move that tree and meet a neighbor. Which turned out just fine as we got the tree out of the road so others could pass. As we were about to leave, Lyt Wood drove up. So
