The Rappahannock Lions Club cordially invites county residents to its Annual Auction on Saturday, May 1 at Bill Payne’s Auction Bam on Route 211 in Amissville. The evening will be a family outing with food, fun and socializing with neighbors. From 4 to 5 p.m., auction items can be viewed. The actual auction begins at 5 p.m. Halfsmokes, hotdogs and other food items will be available at 4 p.m. and throughout the evening under the hand of Roger Welch.
Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair at the Rappahannock County'Elementary School Library will be four days-from April 29 through May 4 so be sure to come for an exciting selection of books. It will be open from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. each school day. The family event will be Thursday, April 29 and last until 8 p.m.
