Annual Spring Plant Sale
Join local, small growers and shop for perennials, shrubs, native plants, vegetable starts, cut flowers and spring produce at Waterpenny Farm on Route 211 in Sperryville on Saturday, May 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 2 from noon to 5 p.m. There also will be a tree-give-away and refreshments by Hearthstone School. May Day celebration
A Thousand Faces Mask Theatre group of Castleton will perform “A May Day Celebration” on Saturday, May 1 with a Drumming group led by Wendi Sirat. There will be two performances: one at 12 noon in the fields of Waterpenny Farm in Sperryville as part of its spring plant sale, and again at 1:30 p.m. on the lawn behind Sperryville Pottery and Blueridge Artisans. Everyone is welcome.
Culinary gala

Open House for day camp
Belle Meade Day Camp for boys and girls 6-13 has five twoweek sessions beginning June 14. Belle Meade Swim Camp for three to six-year- olds has two sessions June 7 and August 23. The Rappahannock Nature Camp, a day camp open to boys and girls age 8 to 12, will be held at Singing Creek near Sperryville from June 21 to July 2.
