Little by little, Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey W. Parker whittled away at the Town of Washington’s Historic District Ordinance and how it came to be, but stopped short of ruling it invalid.
Saying he needed more evidence to make a final decision, the judge in an 11- page opinion, made public Tuesday afternoon, refused to grant either side’s motion for summary judgment in the case of Worley v. the Town of Washington. The lawsuit, filed eight months ago, continues with a hearing June 17.
