The dosing ceremony recognized the teams and their contributions as well as the fact that there will probably be 36 people in Rappahannock diagnosed with cancer this year and that we must continue to fight on. There were 20 teams present this year Fifteen of the 20 teams met the goal of raising $1,000 each. Seven teams raised more than $2,000. The total raised by the closing ceremony was just short of $63,000. Funds will continue to be received by the American Cancer Society in response to this year's Relay.
