'Oie convoy of American and third national citizens assembled at the entrance to the tarmac where the two jo ant cargo planes were sitting awaiting refueling, The noise of their tour propeller engines was deafening. Alter taking role call and checking our passports we finally boarded the plane for the 4 hour flight to Yaounde. Cameroon. The hot Cameroonian sun was just breaking over the horizon when we landed in Yaounde. We were greeted by the Consular CXfieer and another American embassy staff member who quickly processed us through Cameroonian Customs and Immigration before being transported to the Hilton hotel in downtown Yaounde.
