Piedmont Softball Association, a girls fastpitch softball league based in Amissville, is sponsoring a fun benefit softball game between its girts and the waitresses of Country Cookin in WarrentonfGame time is 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Ladybug Park on Rt. 211 in Amissville (between Earty Carpet and Mayhugh Store). Admission is $2 or turn in a 2008 meal receipt per person from the Warrenton Country Cookin and get in free. The Ladybug Park concession stand will be open, as well, and offers hamburgers, hotdogs, cold drinks, nachos, cheese fries, and so much more. All proceeds of the day will benefit the girls of PSA.
