Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahan nock County. Virginia, will hold a public heanng on Monday. August 4, 2008 at 7:00pm in the Courthouse in Washington. Virginia, in order to consider the following applications:
SE 08-06-01 Clyde Koral. dba Jordan River Farm Inc., owner of 328.6 acres located at 6 Shiloh Lane. Huntly (Tax Map 14, Parcel 3, zoned A-Agricultural, Wakefield District), desires a Special Exception permit to operate a conference center or resort for the purpose of holding weddings, receptions, private parties, corporate meetings, and other such events from mid-September through October; for a total of 12 events per year. Mr. Koral will be limiting the number of guests to no more than 200 no more than three (3) times per year, with no more than 100 guests the remaining nine (9) times. Overnight accommodations will be limited to eight (8) guests. There will be no amplified music after 11.00pm. Exception allowed pursuant to Coda Section 170-360 of the Rappahannock County Code, with additional standards under Code Section 170-65N.
