Laura Maize Montgomery, 87, of Warrenton, formerly of Orange, Calif, died on July 3, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was bom in Amissville, on Sept. 20, 1920, daughter of Clarence W. and Mary Sours Clciud.
Mrs. Montgomery enjoyed playing cards, bingo and knitting.
Survivors include two children, Thomas B. Montgomery of Divide, Colo., Jennifer J. Ringler of Murrieta, Calif., and a brother, Leon J. Cloud of Spotsylvania, Va.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Clarice Lillard, Berryville, Va., Hilma Walker, Waldorf, Md., Lois J. Sours, Warrenton and three grandchildren
Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Pamela S. Matchette.
Memorial services were held July 9 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Interment was followed in Warrenton Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to Moser Funeral Home.
