The front window was broken to gain entry and a cash register containing cash was taken from the restaurant.
The Sheriff’s Office has suspects but no arrests have been made.
Larceny
Late in the afternoon on Friday, Jan. 23, a woman in the Kramer Building on Gay Street in Washington had her wallet purse stolen.
Deputy Robbie Fincham responded to the call and found the woman’s purse in the upstairs men’s restroom. The wallet was missing $122 in cash.
The woman stated that there were two males and two females speaking loudly and “carrying on” in the upstairs foyer after she noticed her wallet missing. She said she asked the two females if they had taken her wallet, but they denied taking it.
Thereafter the group got into a gray Tbyota 4-Runner and “sped off.” She was unable to get the license tag
