On Saturday, Jan. 24 the RCSO received a call from Randy Lynn Smoot, 38, of Washington alleging that Leslie Jones, 40, also of Washington, had destroyed his phone and broken a lamp.
In a second call from Mr. Smoot, he claimed that Ms. Jones ran him out of the house.
After arriving on the scene, Ms.Jones claimed that ' Mr. Smoot had hit her. Both were arrested and charged with assault and battery.
