This was just too much.

As they left, council member John Sullivan' made a point of thanking them for attending.

First there was the small glossary of words in the document that had to be defined in their legal sense. Words and phrases like “slug” and “properly shredded garbage.”

Most of the ordinance didn't apply to any particular user in the towa, but still had to be debated anyway.

Then there were the curious sections like: “It shall be unlawful for any person to construct and connect a building sewer to the Town's sewer without first obtaining permission...”

That might have been a missed opportunity to reduce some of the project cost.
