Town and County meetings
• The Town of Washington voted to continue its continued meeting from Jan. 26 to Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m., at Town Hall to review the revised draft sewer ordinance, to consider water system upgrade proposals from Country Water Systems, and to consider any other matters that may come up. • On Monday, Feb. 2 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at a 2 p.m. session and again at 7 p.m. for a public hearing on rezoning. Both meetings will be at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street. Topics on the 2 p.m. agenda include updates on the 800 mHz radio system, Scrabble School and the landfill closure project. • On Thursday, Feb. 5 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street.
