The Rappahannock
Benevolent Fund has been established to serve the needy of Rappahannock County. The primary funding comes through an anonymous grant which willhe repeated as matching amounts are raised.
An initial December 2008 grant of $15,000 will be repeated this March if $7,500 of match is found. The expectation is for this cycle to be repeated in the future. Trinity Episcopal Church (a tax exempt organization t has agreed to be the receiving and dispensing agent, but all moneys given to the fund will be kept in a separate account at Rappahannock National Bank. No administrative expenses are expected, therefore ALL contributions will go to those in need.
