Katlyn Brown ran unopposed as the student body historian. Although some of the candidates didn’t win; we still get to be in the Student Council. We will be representing grades kindergarten through third grade.
Students in upper grades also elected their Student Council Advisory homeroom representative and alternate. They attend meetings and report back to their homerooms. These members also choose which committee they would like to be on. Their choices for committees are Communications, Spirit, Service, and Dance/Holiday.
The Hobday Committee was begun by the late Emily Hilscher when she was in sixth grade, and we keep it in her memory. Each of those committees is equally important to the school and its students.
SCA has begun collecting mixed paper. We are very grateful that RCHS student Sarah Wheatley is picking it up to take to her school for recycling. Students will have a meeting next Thursday.
