A large group of WCDS students volunteered recently at the Children's Wellness Clinic in Manassas.

One of the sponsors, Betty Diehl, wrote:

The students of Wakefield Country Day School represented the school and themselves in the most noble and selfless way possible. Always smiling, being courteous, and full of energy, they painted children's faces, made crafts with them, played games with them, and made sure that all had a fun and exciting time. Not everyone there spoke English, so having Wakefield students there who could speak with the children in their native language made a huge difference to the event.
