Sweet Honey in the Rock is committed to making their music accessible to the Deaf and to developing a Deaf audience. The quintet includes an onstage sign language interpreter w ho conveys the message of the songs, reflects the in<x>d and emotional intent of the singers, and renders visually the melody, harmony, and rhythm of the music.

The group’s latest PBS documentary. Raise Your Voice, was seen nationwide by a broad viewership and continues to be featured during pledge dnve campaigns They have been regular guests on NPR and recently performed on Nickelodeon's Jack’s Big Music Show

For the Sweet Honey in the Rock performance on Oct. 24 at 7 p m., tickets are $75 and include a wine and cheese reception immediately following the concert with an opportunity to mitt the artists.
