mals. Birds can get caught up in Styrofoam and plastic can loops; other small animals can get caught in bottles or cans or cut by them. In addition, food on the side of the road may cause animals to be too close to cars passing by.
The club also is working with Elizabeth Seeley, a cosponsor, to recycle our own paper, and has a project weeding the Native Garden with naturalists Jack and Sally Price. The club meets once a month from 3:30 - 5 p.m. Any RCES student from grades four through seven can join the student-led club with parental permission.
