Memorial service
Mrs. Marion F. Northrop, Karyl Bailey’s mother, died Oct. 8. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:30 a m. at the First Baptist Church in Rockville, Md.
“Marion loved coming to our delightful town and it was her desire to have her ashes sprinkled on the Blue Ridge Mountains,” said Rev. Phil Bailey. “She was a very creative and artsy lady and would make a beautiful gingerbread house for our Christmas events and meals for the community as a fundraiser for our church,” said Bailey.
Karyl’s father’s name is Stanley (Stan) Northrop and her brother is Russell Charette.
