Scholarship fund
The annual fundraiser for The Johnny Jenkins Jr. Scholarship Fund is scheduled for Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Sperrvville Volunteer Fire Department.
The fund has donated scholarships to many Rappahannock seniors during the past four years — in 2009 alone, over $2,000 in scholarships was awarded to six of our own graduates.
This is a wonderful wray to give back to our special community and help otir students move on to higher learning.
