We have amazing resources here in Sperryville. Today we are featuring businesses owned by Darren McKinney and Eddie Gore

Gore Plumbing &

Electric

Eddie Gore was bom and raised in Rappahannock. He lives in Sperryville with his lovely wife, Barbara. Daughter Heather lives with her family right next door. Son Keith and his family now live in Chesterfield.

Eddie worked for VDOT for 24 years and started his plumbing business in 1965 part time nights and weekends. He went full time in business for himself in 1987. Eddie has expanded his business to include all forms of electrical work.

In addition, he has done many things for all of us. He has taken care of many of our school children for 24 years driving a school bus. For many years he has volunteered with the Rescue Squad - he joined the squad just a couple of years after it was formed.

Eddie and Barbara also own and operate Village Fruits and Crafts on Route 211 just west of the Emporium.
