Richard Poster Glenn, who is a member of the Farmville High School Beta Club, attended the an nual Virginia Beta Club Convention at Hotel John Marshall Friday and Saturday of last week. The Rev. Philip Thomas was guest speaker at a series of revival services at Pamplin Methodist church, of which Rev. A. A. Mason is pastor, last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Glenn were in Lynchburg on Wednesday. Mrs. C. B. Carson and Mrs. C A. Garden were business visitors in Farmville last Wednesday.
