Post M. Elects New Officers, Delegates J. K. BuWer Thursday was elected president of Post M. Trav elers Protective association. Other officers elected were Paul Jones, first vice-president: John Varner, second vice-president, and A. B. Holmes, secretary-treasurer. R. B. Crawford, C. C. Pearce, J. Hugh Gilliam and E. M. Whitlock were re-elected post directors. Named delegates to the state convention at Natural Bridge in May were J. K. Butler. Holmes, T. A. Allen. R. T. Hubbard. T. A. Hubbard. Pearce and Leo Wells. Other members who would like to atten dthe convention should call either Butler or Holmes. Community Singing To Be March 31 There will be a community singing at Woodland Church. Buckingham county, on Sunday March 31 at 1:30 p. m. Rev. Wil fred Mayton of Blacksburg will conduct this service. The public is invited to attend and sing. Purpose of the meeting was t< b’-ing members together to pooi ideas and experiences for a more ; effective county program: to give members the opportunity to know each other better: to acquaint 4-H clubbers with adult leaders. Goals and standards selected fot the year were: observance of Na t onal 4-H Club Week: observance f Rural Life Sunday; a county-wide 4-H picnic; attendance of delegatee at the State 4-H Short Course at Virguiia State and the Wildlife Con ference, and participation in the Five-County Fair.
