Dinner Party Honors Bitsy Glenn’s Birthday Bitsy Glenn celebrated her ninth birthday last week with a dinner party given in her honor by her mother, Mrs. C W Glenn, at the Glenn home on Buffalo street. Guests were Anns Marie Pear son, Del Hutch Watkins, Lucie Putney, Kathy Oliver and Bobby Martin. Mrs. Griffin Presents Award at Convention Nell H. Griffin, professor of home economics at Longwood Col lege, attended the Virginia Home Economics convention in Roanoke March 22. As chairman of the scholarship committee, Mis. Griffin presented the candidate for the VHKA scholarship award, given annually to a high student planning to major in home economics.
