John William Baird, Jr , eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Baird, of Scottsville. has retired after 20 years duty with the U. S. Navy. He graduated from Scottsville High School in 1936. He married Miss Bernice Wagner, of Jacksonville, Flit. They have two sons, 10 and 14 years old, and they plan to make their home in Jacksonville.
