Cause* of Failure
When young men and woman finish school, choose their occupations, and get jobs, many of them fail. Why do so many people in all yocations fail? This is the answer often given.
They do not get along well with other people, this is the chief reason for ‘ failure. A person may not be brilliant and he may not be skillful, but that is .not the most important cause of failure. If a person has average intelligence he can learn to do his work well, but if he does not co-operate with his employers and his co-'workers there is little hope for him.
Since this is true each student should get into the habit of cooperating with others as soon as possible. A few questions each student should ask of himself are: Am I loyal to my school and to my fellow students? Am I concerned about their success as well as my own?
If you form the habit now of being friendly and co-operating and of working with others, the! habit is likely to be permanent.
