How far should farmors go in upping corn production goals?
Extension Service specialists at VPI Sim to find out, and they ■have distributed cost record sheets among farmers in Virginia who have hit the 100-bushel-per-acre •mark.
When the cost record sheets are returned, the specialists will have data to tell them whether or not producing 100 bushels per acre and up is economical on certain fauns.
Co-operating counties in the study include Craig, Page, Mecklinburg, Spotsylvania, ‘Brunswick, Hanover, Fairfax, Henrico, Gloucester, Fauquier, Greene, Madison, Culpeper, Shenandoah, and Rappahannock.
