Randolph Settle Takes
Blue Ribbon at 4-H Show

The Fifth Annual Northern Virginia 4-H Dairy Show was held last Saturday, September 9, at Warrenton. This was a very large show with ten Northern Virginia counties competing.
Rappahannock county had one entry, Randolph Settle, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Settle of Amissville and a student of Forest Grpve school, entered his ISmonth-old Guernsey heifer.
This fine heifer placed second in the blue ribbon class of Guern-i sey Junior Yearlings. This blue ribbon winner was bred in the bounty on Mount Vernon Stock Farm, Sperryville.
Randy’s prizes include a blue ribbon and $10 in cash.
This heifer will be exhibited in the Rappahannock County Fair September 30. Why not take a look at this fine animal there?
