WHEREAS, Miss Atkins was valued by her pupils for her integrity, for her interest in them, for her character that challenged them to higher goals; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That this association express its appreciation for the many fine influences her life exemplified; and,
RESOLVED, That the sympathy of this association be expressed to her family in its grief.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of these resolutions be included in the minutes of the Page County Education Association; that copies be sent to her family, to the Page County School Board, to the Page News and Courier, to the Rappahannock News, and to the Virginia Journal of Education.

MOORES ENTERTAIN WITH DUPLICATE BRIDGE PARTY
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr., entertained a number of friends at a duplicate bridge party Friday evening, having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mr. and Mrs. John McGee, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Lock Burford, Mrs. Robert Massie, Mrs. Jack Dabney, Donnie Keyser, Miss Louise Miller, Miss Nancy Moore, Buddy Moore, Miss Minnie Williams, and Lide Dearing.
High score for north and south was Mrs. Robert Massie; high score for east and west, Mrs. John S. Browning.
Refreshments of nuts, candy and punch were served at 10 o’clock and a course of fruit salad, tea sandwiches, crackers and cheese and potato chips were served after the game.
