SPERRYVILLE FIRE AUX. MET MONDAY EVENING
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Volunteer Fire Company met on Monday evening in the school au-t ditorium. Plans were made for the Minstrel show to be given at the County Fair September 30. It was voted to change the hour for the meetings during the winter months from 8:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The oldest working clock in the world is in the Parish church at Rye, England. It was built in 1560, at a cost of $15, and is still running.
