Guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Rutherford over the week end were Earl Starnes and Miss Becky Rutherford, employees of the Post Office Department in Washington, D.C. On Sunday they attended services held at the Oakley church. Also guests in the Rutherford home were Mrs. Roscoe Dodson and daughter Peggy Ann.
Mrs. George Wood was the guest last week of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Nethers.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Armistead Lewis of Washington, D. C., were in Washington for the day Saturday.
