Among those from Sperryville attending the Confirmation Service held in Trinity church in Washington Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Harry Trescott and her son Harry Trescott, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Miss Louise Schwartz, Col. and Mrs. B. F. Miller, R. M. Menefee and R. M. Menefee, Jr. On Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and their two daughters Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer and Mrs. Joseph B. Johnson were in Madison for the services at Piedmont church, when Mrs. Johnson’s grandson Joe Gordon Payne iwas a member of the class.
The Cary Thornhill family visit} ed their son Robert, a patient in the Winchester hospital, last Sunday.
