There will be services at First Baptist church Sunday, November 19. Morning services will be conducted by Rev. Robert C. Davis. At 3 o’clock the Rev. Mr. Ball of Maryland and his congregation will be the guests. All are welcome.

The Rev. Robert Davis will preach at Macedonia Baptist church, Flint Hill, Friday night at — 8 o'clock. He will be accompanied by the choir and congregation of Washington.

There will be services at Promise Land Baptist church, Smedley, Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. by the pastor, Rev. O. D. Jackson.

A Chittdin’ and Chicken Dinner will be given at Washington school Saturday, November 18, at 5 p.m., sponsored by the NAACP of Rappahannock

Washington choir had as their guest Sunday afternoon the choirs from Flint Hill, Smedley, Sperryville, and Woodville. The evening was a very musical affair.

The pupils and teachers of Scrabble school wish to thank the patrons and friends who co-operated so lovely Sunday, causing our dinner to be a great success.
