MRS. LYNE ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB | Mr*. W. H. Lyne entertained the bridge club Friday evening at tiher home in Sperryville. Thoae playing were Mrs. R. G. Quaintance Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. Cari roll Menefee, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Lee Thornton, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. ;C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. G. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. J. H. Aylor, Mrs. Holmes Hall and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey. The two high score prizes were won by Mrs. Quaintance and Miss O’Bannon. After the game the hostess served refreshments.

ENTERTAIN AT "HI-WY”

Prior to their return to their hdme, “The Whitney Farm,” Mt. Desert, Maine, near Bar Harbor, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine L. Durham entertained Mr. and M”* Arthur miller, Evelyn Tyler Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. Rayner Snead at dinTvclr at the “Hi-Wy” in Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Durham left for their home Tuesday afternoon.

ENTERTAIN AT BRIDGE

Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., entertained a few of her friends at bridge Friday evening, her guests included Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Burford, Mrs. Robert Massie, and Miss Minnie Williams. Mrs. Smith was awarded the high score.
