The talk goes that the President has failed to comment on the elec* tion. That puts him in a class all by himself, for everyone else has surely discussed it. The general trend seems to run on conversation as to how a stymied Congress is going to affect one's own particular business. The merchant iwonders; labor wonders; you and I wonder. There is one consolation: you and 1 know just as much about the future as the smartest guy in the whole country, and we can truly say, “Your guess is as good as mine.”
