Miss Carol Settle of the University of Maryland, was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle. Mr. and Mrs. Settle also had as their guests for the week end Roswen Bowersett and Master Jimmie Bowersett. Culpeper visitors from Woodville on Wednesday were Misses Ethel Long and Mattie Rector, Mrs. Lily Barber, Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Harry Stephenson, Misses Annie Stephenson and Mary Stark.
Rev. and Mrs. Felton Carter visited Robert Thornhill in Winchester hospital, where he is a patient from a broken leg.

W. H. Jenkins is a patient in the Martha Jefferson hospital in Charlottesville, where he underwent a major operation. -
