Visits Washington
Mrs. Emi Mackwirth of Darmstadt, Germany, was in Washington on Tuesday observing the community. Mrs. Mackwirth is in America to study home and family life and problems of the communities in this country to get ideas to help in the government of her* own community in Germany, where she is a member of the council and chairman of the league of housewives.
She has visited the cities of St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Knoxville, and small towns in Pennsylvania during her visit of seven weeks in this country. She expects to leave by plane for Germany December 19, in order to be at home to celebrate Christmas with her two sons, aged 26 and 23, a dentist and a radio technician. :
