Some fellow who was below the passing 80 would receive ‘‘according tp his need*’ the extra points from the fellow who did well, “according to his ability.’’ Socialism made a mighty poor showing when the industrious, capable boy had to go home with his report card and explain that his grades were the same as those of the lazy lad.
