Reclaiming: wet lands for pasture and cultivation in Culpeper and Rappahannock Counties became an important conservation practice during 1951. Sixty five farmers ip the two counties drained over 600 acres of potentially good Agricultural land that was previously a liability to the farm. Much of the land will be seeded to Ladino Clover and grass mixtures' for pastures. Soil Conservation Service Technicians working in cooperation with the Culpeper Soil Conservation District assisted the farmers in locating of ditch lines
