Miss Judy Hawkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hawkins, is much improved at her home in Sperryville and is now allowed to be out of bed several hours daily.

Mrs. J. B. Johnson of Sperry-, ville is in Front Royal hospital for treatment.

Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher and daughters, and Mrs. W. M. Fletcher were dinner guests Satday evening of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr.

Miss Bland, commercial teacher at Rappahannock,. High School, was an overnight guest Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Calhoun.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor of Arlington spent the (week end at Lee Highway hotel and upon their return to the city were accompanied by their children, Joe Jr., and Ann Yates, who have recovered from chicken pox.

Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wake and son and Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Chapman and family were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman at Sperryville.
