“Rotations in Contour Strips have saved many tons of valuable topsoil and rainfall'’, says C. R. Tinsley of Griffinsburg. Tinsley as been farming contour patterns for the past 12 years, added that he would not consider going back to the old straight row rectangular field method. Many farmers in the Culpeper Soil Conservation District come to the same conclusion each year.
