Mrs. J. M. Rowzie
Mrs. Ada Maude Rowzie, widow of the late James Maurice Rowzie of Amissville, died at the Physicians Hospital in Warrenton, Tuesday, September 16. m Mrs. Rowzie, 78, was a native of Rappahannock; daughter of the late Charles Hawkins and Mrs. Virginia Leith Hawkins of Culpeper county.
Funeral services were held Thursday aftemobn, September 18, from Amissville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Harold Carder, pastor, conducting the last rites. Interment was in Amissville Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph H. and Maurice M. Rowzie of Amissville, C. Oden Rowzie of Vienna; one sister, Miss Ida B. Hawkins of Amissville and three grandchildren, Miss Sandra Lee, Carol Ann and Linda Lou Rowzie.
Pallbearers were Morrison Green, Cyril Kines, William Bywaters, Charlie* Compton, Elliott Doyle, A. C. Latham Jr., Charles Walter and Graham Hackley.
Friends and relatives serving as honorary pallbearers were Maddox Tapp, A. C. Latham Sr., Dr. J. L. Boldridge, L. H. Latham, Sam Compton, Everett Stover, Jack Yowell, Irvin Yowell, J. B. Deatherage and a number of others.
